| So rare to come across such an incredible antique linen set as this, AND in the scrumptious lemony yellow color! My photos just don't do justice!! This very sheer, almost handkerchief weight linen lawn feels divine, with just the right amount of white hand embroidery and pulled needle worked design, with replique scalloped hems on the sheet and pillow cases and even the bottom hem is hand hemmed drawn work! Most likely made by a a leading Italian linen house, as the work is professionally executed. And yes I did try it out for a wonderful luxurious night. Large enough for a Queen or King bed, the sheet measures 92" across with a 22" turndown. The 2 matching slip on pillow cases are 20" X 24" and bolster case is 20" X 60". It is so rare to find a set like this in such wonderful, condition, there are a few small pin holes and a small hand repair on the bolster shown in last photo. | ||
