| I loved studying the simple but precise stitches in this "learning" piece. I imagine the young lady as she practiced the basic stitches here as well as using them to hand bind the work with the T-tiny stitches into a case for her night clothes. Some of the stitches she learned here were Antique seam, running stitch, back stitch,plain hem, french seam, binding seam, whipping, drawn hemstitching, buttonhole stitch...whew!Oh, and her monogram in turkey red tiniest counted stitch! Measures 14" x 11" and I've just laundered and pressed it for you to use as a pillow or your gown, as well as study it! | ||
