Because of its size, I imagine this one was used for her delicates.The scalloped bottom and Wasche (Swiss-German) for Clean, as well as the eyelet holes at the top, are hand embroidered in my favorite Swiss blue floss. The lace insertions are 3" deep.Pockets for the draw string on each side, however I've left it as found with the braid and draw string. Fabulous heavy creamy linen,most likely hand loomed.
