| This heavy unused sheet has precious ribboned bouquets scattered across the large 22"turndown. Most unusual, and so delightful! It will soften with repeated washings (and of course last forever!), but is now sturdy with a combination of mostly linen and perhaps some cotton, known in France as "metis", a combination of the best of both. It has a rather substantial weight! You get to break it in! Excellent condition, now freshly laundered and pressed. Very, very faint storage stains, which will fade away in laundering. Measuring 87" X 102". I think it's probably about 1920 0r 1930, older machine embroidery which is hard to tell. They just don't make them like this anymore...you know it's organic! What a way to recycle! | ||
