| This is a wonderful and rare black transferware piece! Produced in early 1800's in the Netherlands at Societe Ceramique Maestricht. Interestingly it is marked in French "Fuite en Egypte", and No.4.The scene of Joseph leading his donkey carrying Mary holding Baby Jesus, as well as the portraits of Jesus with His Crown of Thorns, and other symbols are stunning. It measures 9 1/4" in diameter and 1 1/2" deep. It is in excellent condition, with nocracks only little flea bites on the footing. | ||
