| My photos don't do justice to this quaint Swiss Mountain Cabin Scene on heavy iron. The colors are quite muted in tone ,with Arts and Crafts stylized pine cone designs in each corner and circling the cabin scene. According to my research,the first tole painting on iron was stenciled rather than painted. Some crackling and loss of paint, consistent with its age, adding charm in my opinion. 10" X 10 3/4" I have not cleaned or polished it.What a delightful accent to your mountain retreat! | ||
