| This plate's center scene is an image of a favorite French Resort in Switzerland in the mid 1800's according to my research. I can't find any info that it still exists,but photos from the 1860's by Eastman. Must have been quite a desirable place to retreat for the French! Beautiful transferware and seems to be quite historical! I can't make out the mark on the back ,but it does have 3 stilt marks. I'm guessing late 1800's to early 1900's.Perfect but for a few scratches that blends in w/ the mountain, and not noticed. 7.5" | ||
