| Beautifully carved wooden wallbox, perhaps for candles.It has a wonderful patina and looks like a warm rich leather!I found this in Switzerland and it might be attributed to Brienz, the real source of what is considered Black Forest carvings. It has 2 marks near the front center which almost look like burns, but doesn't detract from it at all. Quite an addition to any wall in your castle!!! You could even put a vase for flowers inside or hang it in your kitchen for whisks, wooden spoons and such implements!! 8.5"h X 5.5wX3"d circa 1900 ' | ||
