| A work of art! Expertly hooked by hand, this delightful pillow with a squirrel on a pine branch is a perfect accent for your cabin, cottage and fall and winter decor! Notice he is enjoying a nut or piece of pine cone, seen in his paw! It is one of 2 companion pillows that I recently discovered in Switzerland. It is tightly hooked in still vibrant colors on vintage cotton velvet with shirred black satin edges and solid black satin backing. It feels to be very heavily stuffed with feathers, weighing over 2 lbs. It is in wonderful vintage condition, with very few missing stitches, and a few pin holes on the back side. Figural vintage hooked rugs are quite collectible, and pillows are even more rare. Makes sense to me, as there is no foot traffic! This one has survived beautifully!
