This delightful solid brass wall charger seems to be Arts and Crafts Era with all the features of that era, symetrical leaves and enameled dragonflies flanking a center enameled lotus blossom on a swirling stem. There's some loss of enameling from age on the silverish background and on the orange of the lotus, but it certainly doesn't distract from this incredible design! What a find for your Craftsman Bungalow! 12"

My photos don't do justice to this quaint Swiss Mountain Cabin Scene on heavy iron. The colors are quite muted in tone ,with Arts and Crafts stylized pine cone designs in each corner and circling the cabin scene. According to my research,the first tole painting on iron was stenciled rather than painted. This piece is all about the monogram…combining 3,4,or even more initials ! The white on white stitching is shadow stitched on the back, with just the tiniest little outline stitches forming the design on front,and perfect hand drawn hemstitched hem.
