This exceptional vintage hand hooked pillow proclaims "Good Hunting!" in German,"Waidmanns Heil!". The handwork is amazing! It is one of 2 companion pillows that I recently found in Switzerland, obviously made by the same artist. The colors are still so vibrant! There are few small areas of damage mainly seen on the letters a and n,and a bit of wear on the vintage black cotton velvet under the doe's mouth, and top center. But over all, its in beautiful vintage condition...

Completely hand woven with hand carved splines, this basket would make quite an addition to your collection! So unique to display and sturdy enough to even use for collecting flowers, silverware, napkins...just anything you choose! The photos have a glare that shows sort of a whitish wash that is not really in person. The wood(pine?) has wonderful patina . I seldom come across these German miniature fences usually used for feather trees at Christmas or as toy fencing.However this one is large enough for the standard tree, as shown with the Swiss green glass tree stand, item #817942! How charming is that? It is very sturdy handmade with hinges so it folds up! One spindle is loose, and one missing. The green paint is original I believe. Not only for Christmas, but wonderful for display all year...

I couldn't resist this unusual majolica creamer and sugar I purchased in Brussels.The colors are so reminiscent of the colors we often find on old conch shells on the coast. I love the small shell as the sugar bowl handle. As you can tell , in the 3rd photo, the glaze is absent from the very bottom of the footings...
