This French cami is absolutely breathtaking!
It is completely made by hand.
The condition is wonderful for it's age.
It fastens in the back with 3 tiny Mother of Pearl buttons, with little loops that might eventually need replacing as they are rather fragile. The satin straps are 1" wide.
It measures approx. 35" across the lace at the top...

Fine, almost handkerchief weight linen, with cutwork and incredibly exact hand embroidered designs on this antique piece, most likely created by a young girl for her trousseau. It was meant to keep and protect her handkerchiefs, gloves, or perhaps lace collars or veils. Of course, it could be made into a charming boudoir pillow! The exquisitely crafted basket signifying abundance for the marriage. (Always welcome!) The 3" oval of stylized flowers might have been intended for monograms...

Ethereal linen lawn handkerchief has 1 1/2" embroidered net lace with butterflies and sprigs of flowers all around. The lace edging was made for it, not pieced together! Perfect for bridal use as well as the butterfly aficionado! I found this unused in Switzerland, but have just laundered it! Oops, I think the close up 3rd photo is of the back side! Will try to redo soon...

This is a fine example of the work done at home by ladies long ago! Not only is the hand embroidery perfect, right down to the beautifully scalloped button hole stitched flap, but the french seams are stitched by hand...not machine! Notice the details like the tiny laundry mark in black and white twisted thread, just above the row of drawn hem stitching as shown in last photos.
Absolutely perfect work of art! There are faint little stains seen on the top fold, left and right...

I just adore the handwork on this lovely handkerchief case! The 3rd photo shows a enlarged closeup, trying to show the beautiful stitching, however the photo just doesn't do it justice! The stitches are so teeny I had to check them out with a jewelers loop! A beautiful, colorful bouquet surrounded by a ring of the same! The silk has a pattern of tiny dots. It seems to be lightly padded, and closes with a shell button...

This precious bib would be considered a drool bib to protect an infants fine day gown. I found it seemingly unused and have laundered and pressed it for your infant or as a gift...

With a Neat n' Tidy label at the neckline, baby rick rack trims this delightful apron, from the 40's my guesstimate. The fabric is a very fine unique weave with lines woven in. Impeccable but for a small hand mending in the skirt (in photo on left of skirt)which isn't noticed in the folds. So fun as well as collectible...

Delightful for the holidays or year round! These aprons have seen little use or were most likely well taken care of! The longer one has button on straps that can be removed and used to go around the neck...it also is hand drawn and ladderworked at the top of the bib, it measures 10" bib to waist,27" skirt length,24 inches across waist not including "apron strings" I think it will do the job for anyone! The shorter apron measures 10" bib,18" skirt length,and21" at waist, not including "apron st...

The intricate Appenzell style embroidery of lobed flowers, detailed shading, and even petit point is almost overwhelming when you look at it closely! The beautiful, fine linen has hand rolled hems.Never used nor washed, but as found, you can see in the photos, that one has a label indicating it's hand work. The hanky with pastel floral also has florals on all other corners! !4" sq...
