Impressed marks on the bottom of this delightful teapot indicate it was made for the Pension des Alpes Vevey by B.Bohrman,It has additional impressed marks of 98 in a diamond and the numbers 1 and 8 in seperate rectangles. Also at the bottom of the B Bohrmann Frankfurt A/M is the number 2. The shape of this as well as the glowing patina is just enchanting! There are the usual signs of age, and I think it is circa 1900. Elegant Continental silverplate tray and brush for your table! I gave it a polishing, but not too deep so as not to remove the patina. I use these often and guests love to be the one to "sweep" the table. Another elegant touch. Brush is 10 1/2" long, tray is 7" x 7 1/2" , from Germany.
This pair of silver plate over heavy metal, salt and pepper in the form of birds on a branch of foliage is just adorable! There is tarnish from salt on one, but they have had their share of use on someone's table ! I have replaced the corks with new ones, and they are now ready to grace your table! Approx.6" X 4" in all. Such an elegant accent! I found these in Brussels.
