This unique handmade knitting needle case is fashioned of natural baby fine wool, linen or hemp canvas, and bound with burgandy silk(?). It is further enhanced with MB monogram in tiny little stitches, and the canvas side has hand embroidered patterns. Blanket stitches bind the monogrammed flap and needle pockets. It's Hatch, New Mexico Chile time! Fruit and vegetable dishes from this era have become quite collectible. This large chile pepper is perfect for all year! In excellent condition, just a few minor loss of glaze on the red chili handle and the end of the spoon handle. It measures 9" to the stem end is about 6" tall. It holds almost 2 cups! Marked Mexico on the bottom.
This Warszawa, Poland box is so interesting with a mermaid accenting the top corner of the box! There are fine lines of brass inlaid and embellishing the lid and bottom sides all around.
