Once again, silhouettes have become quite collectible, and this is has a most desirable subject matter The detail in this signed E.V.Maydell and dated 1921 work is most incredible. It is black paper on ecru paper.There is some lifting of the silhouette,and the only breaks I note are at the top of the foot pedal cords,none of which detract at all.
