I never can resist turkey red embroidery and this is some of the finest deeply padded embroidery I've seen from "Ladies of the Church".The hand embroidered border of fleur-de lis is so beautiful and precise. The light weight linen is finely woven and flawless but for a few small rust stains that I just noticed while inspecting closely. The German translates to My Merciful Jesus, and it is most desirable Swiss embroidery. It meaures 36" across x 34".
