I've rarely found a Sorrento box with the base volume intact…usually it often has been removed to get the hidden key which locks the treasures inside.This box is perfect with all moving parts intact(just a tiny hole on the top,as seen in photo).This unusual box is covered in thin sheet of pearlized celluloid over handpainted script and lettering and what looks like a print of pansies.The script indicates it 's a souvenier of Marg Argentina I believe,probably crafted by an Italian crafts ...click for details
