Marked Maple & Co.Ltd., Made in England,circa 1900, with 5 ptd. star in each circle of a cloverleaf. I did not give it a thorough polishing, in order to leave some patina . William Morris Arts & Crafts inspired foliate pomegranate design on this most unusual serving spoon. It is impressed Silver plated Italy with the maker Leonard on the back. A delightful piece for your next dinner party. It polished beautifully and is in perfect condition with no wear to the plating, however the photos have been darkened to show the design. Measures 8 3/4" long, the bowl is 2 1/2" wide.

This superb toast rack has incredible lustrous embellishment! Quite fashionable in the mid 1800's as well as today to serve toast, properly cut on the diagonal. Marked with impressed HA, EA, FA, for the Atkins, EPNS and their impressed mark with hand holding 3 lillys?, also hand scribed 497/oa(meaning 1st quality).
