This wonderful cross is covered with over a 100 meticulously arranged seashells. The detailed figure of Christ is most likely art plastic.The base is a wooden cross with a tiny little hanger. I seldom come across these German miniature fences usually used for feather trees at Christmas or as toy fencing.However this one is large enough for the standard tree, as shown with the Swiss green glass tree stand, item #817942! How charming is that? It is very sturdy handmade with hinges so it folds up! One spindle is loose, and one missing. The green paint is original I believe.
