1900-1920 Three Crown China back mark. Though the images of roses is worn with much use, I just couldn't leave this heavy teapot stand behind! I love the raised swirls of the design, and these wonderful teapot stands are hard to come by...I think they were certainly well used. This one still has a lot of life left and so unique for your next tea party! 6 1/2" dia.
I couldn't resist this Swiss/German butter dish with the beautiful gilt German lettering "Fresh Butter". Such sweet bouquets of violets and lily of the valley, just like we find growing there! Very slight loss to the gilt lettering, a few knife scratches, and a small chip at the left end edge, shown in photo 2. 8 3/4" long. Marked R.H. in a circle.
This lovely handpainted over transfer set includes the coffee pot w/lid, large milk pot, sugar bowl(no lid) and 6 dessert plates. There is a handpainted artists no. on the back of most of the pieces. Sorry, the sugar lid was broken (I still have the pieces), This set would blend well with the cups and saucers I've listed, Item #683003 In excellent condition! I got a good buy on this beautiful set and am passing it on to you!

This beautiful scalloped and embossed compote has a most unique decoration of underglaze transfer-printing with characteristics of flow blue, a result of the glazing process. This fine example has no repetition of the floral, foliate, and cartouche designs in the bowl. The patterned relief handles are quite lovely. The underneath of the pedestal is marked with an impressed 2 and 8. It measures 10" across the handles X 9" width, x 5.25" high.
