Always a joy to find a large set of such lovely and unique linen napkins in such wonderful condition and at a price I am able to pass on to you! I love the little edging of lace and the insert of the stylized basket of flowers in the corner. Oh so fine and perfect!Excellent embroidery, drawn work, and intricate buttonhole stitched, scalloped edging all around on this finest, almost handkerchief weight runner or table centerpiece. It literally floats when shaken! Measures 13" X 39"
Wow! Not only is this a wonderful huge Italian linen towel or runner, but it has a 3" deep row of prancing dogs crocheted lace at each end! Embroidered in the padded French style with tendrils of vines and bullion roses, the perfectly hand monogrammed E A measures 11" across. Huge tea tray, framing a hand embroidered sampler depicting the most recognized areas, landmarks and people of London. the surrounding border of flowers show the emblems of the British Isles...Rose for England, Thistle for Scotland, Shamrock for Ireland,and Daffodil for Wales, interspersed with crowns throughout. Near the top center is a figure of Queen Elizabeth I.

This charming tapestry of a pair of whippets or greyhound dogs was most likely a cover for a cushion in a Victorian parlor. It would be stunning made into a pillow or even framed! In excellent condition but for the missing turkey red fringe, slight areas of wear which don't show unless you are really looking for them (see last photo) It feels luxurious and silky to touch. Measures 18" sq. not including fringe.
Precious leather song book presented by Mama on her child's First Communion, circa 1910. The lovely silver shield is engraved with initials TCC it seems. There is a beautiful hand inscription by Mama! It is in excellent condition,but the front leather could use polishing if you prefer. Measures 5 1/2" X 4". We are listing several more missals, Bibles, and religious works in our inventory.
This lovely leather song book was presented to Alice Rodman on her confirmation 1906 in the Swiss German Evangelical- Reformed Church. The stunning silver adornment is the same on both sides. It is in perfect condition, with beautiful old gothic lettering and gilt edges.
